Safety does not allow distractions
A campaign to promote attention, responsibility and a culture of prevention.
24 April 2025
On the occasion of World Day for Health and Safety at Work, the Marraffa-Werent Group renews its commitment to promoting safety with a new communication campaign entitled: “Safety does not allow distractions”.
A strong message for a high-risk sector
In a sector where the daily management of complex vehicles such as cranes and aerial platforms involves high risks, safety cannot be treated as a simple regulatory compliance. It is a founding value, a shared responsibility, a pillar of corporate culture.
With this initiative, the Marraffa-Werent Group wants to go beyond the simple dissemination of rules: the aim is to stimulate a collective reflection on the importance of concentration and awareness in the workplace. The chosen slogan underlines a principle that is too often overlooked: even a single moment of inattention can have irreparable consequences.
Technology and training: safety is built every day
The message of the campaign is clear: safety starts with people, even before devices. Even with the most advanced technologies, what really makes the difference is the mental attitude of each operator, their ability to recognize risks and act responsibly.
For this reason, the Group has adopted an organizational model based on three fundamental guidelines:
- Constant updating of the fleet of vehicles, to ensure the use of modern equipment that complies with the latest standards;
- Punctual ordinary and extraordinary maintenance, to ensure the efficiency and reliability of each machine;
- Continuous and specific training of personnel, so that each operator has a thorough knowledge of the technical characteristics of the vehicles and the correct operating procedures.
Prevention and protection: two sides of the same coin
The vision of the Marraffa-Werent Group is based on two key concepts: prevention and protection.
- Prevention translates into daily activities such as safety briefings, training courses, moments of discussion and internal communication. It means promoting a risk culture that focuses on awareness and constant attention.
- Protection, on the other hand, concerns all the devices and measures implemented to reduce the impact of accidents: from helmets to specific PPE, from fall protection systems to pre-operational checks.
But the real strength of the Marraffa-Werent model lies in a work environment based on collaboration, mutual respect and proactive reporting of critical issues, essential elements for continuous improvement.
A campaign to change the perception of risk
With “Safety does not allow distractions”, the Group aims to spread a new approach to safety at work, which involves everyone: managers, technicians, operators and collaborators. Because prevention cannot be improvised and protection cannot be delegated.
In a sector where precision and reliability are vital, the culture of safety is the first guarantee of success. And Werent and Marraffa demonstrate this with concrete facts, every day.
