Transport and lifting of a 23 m tank

Marraffa took care of the transport and lifting of an 18 ton tank, 4 m in diameter and 23 m long, as long as a 7-floors building.

In detail, the tank was transported from the Adelfia (BA) production plant to the Birra Peroni plant in Bari (operating for the entire production cycle since July 1963, with an average annual production capacity of 1.9 million hectoliters ), along an 18 km route, on 12 axles of Goldhofer modular vehicles towed by a 4-axle Mercedes Actros tractor.

Once it reached its destination, the tank was verticalised in tandem thanks to the use of two Marraffa Tadano Faun mobile cranes and positioned in the pre-established point.

Another job brilliantly completed thanks to the preparation of the Marraffa operators and the careful design work by the technical office.
