Liebherr LTM 1650-8.1 joins Marraffa fleet

Marraffa announces the arrival of the new Liebherr LTM 1650-8.1 mobile crane, an imposing 700-ton machine that further enriches our high-end mobile crane fleet.

The Liebherr LTM 1650-8.1 has extraordinary flexibility in road transfer. Thanks to its 8 axles, which differ from the 9 axles of previous models belonging to the same capacity class, this mobile crane guarantees greater agility and a reduction in the overall weight of the vehicle. Furthermore, the possibility of quickly disassembling various components helps to optimize transport operations.

The powerful 686 horsepower Liebherr engine, which powers both the undercarriage and the turret of the mobile crane, is combined with an automatic transmission with torque converter, ZF Traxon Torque, equipped with EcoDrive and EcoMode functions. This system always guarantees the right power to the axles of the mobile crane, which boasts a 16x8 traction.

The Liebherr LTM 1650-8.1 joins the large Marraffa fleet made up of over 150 vehicles, including mobile cranes up to 700 tons, behind-the-cab cranes with drive and specific vehicles for exceptional transport. We also boast over 100 modular shaft lines (SPMTs) to tackle the toughest logistical challenges.
