Marraffa and Werent donate an ambulance to the Italian Red Cross

The new ambulance of the City Committee of the Italian Red Cross, purchased with the contribution of Marraffa and Werent, was officially delivered to the community of Martina Franca.
The delivery ceremony of the new vehicle took place on Sunday 16 October in Piazza XX Settembre, in Martina Franca, at the presence of the city authorities, the councilor for Culture, Carlo Dilonardo, the representatives of the police and voluntary associations, as part of the two-day "Uniti nel soccorso", an event promoted on the occasion of the second edition of the National Civil Protection Week.
"An ambulance that represents a virtuous example of synergy between civil society, and in this case a large and renowned entrepreneurial group, and the worthy Italian Red Cross - underlined during the blessing ceremony, Don Martino Mastrovito - A rescue vehicle precious but which would not be useful without the fundamental role of operators, doctors, paramedics, volunteers, and this blessing is therefore addressed to the vehicle but above all to those who will use it on a daily basis ".
The new type A ambulance supplied to the City Committee of the Italian Red Cross, equipped for long-distance transfers, is equipped with all the electromedical devices necessary for cardio-pulmonary resuscitation and a traumatic kit.
"For us it is the realization of a dream - pointed out in the course of his speech by Dr. Angelo Marangi, President of the CRI City Committee - an ambulance that we are now delivering to the entire Martinese community. Red Cross and the entire city, the Marraffa-Werent Group, which strongly wanted the realization of this project.
"I am particularly excited to cut the ribbon on this new ambulance which represents our contribution to the social fabric of the city. Investing in favor of the communities - reiterated Michele Marraffa - has in fact always been one of the main missions of our business activity and today we really are satisfied for having achieved this synergy with the Italian Red Cross, which makes us particularly proud ".
