Our commitment to the environment

The companies of the Marraffa-Werent Group have always paid great attention to environmental issues. Environment and safety at work are the pillars on which the company management has intended to build the vision of development of the two companies, included among the realities in Italy participating in the national campaign "Plastic free" of the Ministry of the Environment.

All these actions have allowed a progressive elimination of plastic, urging workers to behave not only consistently with the plastic free guidelines, but more generally aimed at protecting and respecting the environment not only in the workplace, but also at home.

The great attention to environmental issues is rooted in the visionary drive of the company management, so much so that in recent years all the sites have been equipped with photovoltaic systems for the production of electricity. The Marraffa-Werent Group operates in the field of transport, exceptional transport and rental of machines for lifting things and people and earthmoving. The fleet of vehicles has always been constantly updated and in line with all environmental regulations, aimed at reducing the environmental impact.

Climate change affects many aspects of our territory and society: production activities, public health, leisure, the quality of the marine and land environment, the production and consumption of energy, food and much more. The scientific community is constantly working to produce concrete and reliable knowledge on how the territory will change over the next decades as a result of climate change, what impacts we can expect and how to deal with them.

From the collaboration between science and the actors of the territory are born those initiatives that, starting from future scenarios, design strategies and actions to intervene today and make us ready for the years to come.

The Climate Decree is the Italian legislative provision dedicated to the fight against climate change. The declared objective is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, which produce global warming.
